How to choose solid timber wood for hotel furniture?

Solid wood furniture means those furniture material by natural solid wood, on the furniture surface, you can see the wood grain.
In the market, now solid wood furniture are normally have 2 type:
Type 1: Solid wood furniture. This type of furniture, all part of the furniture material are use solid timber wood.
Type 2: Imitation solid wood furniture. It means for the outlook of the furniture, you can see the natural wood grain, touch of solid wood grain and color are all same as solid wood furniture, but actually the inner material are combine solid wood with panel together to final finished the hotel furniture. Such as the side board, partition board are using particle board or MDF with wood veneer top finished.
Nowadays on the furniture market for solid wood furniture, the normal solid timber wood type are beech wood, teak hard wood, maple timber wood, oak, ash tree, birch, elm wood, poplar, pine, basswood, Xylosma and so on. The most expensive one are the beech wood, ash tree and Xylosma. When choosing the solid timber wood design, as they are quite durable, better to choose those design not too modern but also not too old-fashioned one.

Wood grain and wood scar

Solid wood furniture owns the natural clear wood grain. A good one, solid wood panel, you can see one kind of wood grain from the front side, when open the cabinet door, you also can see the same wood grain from the same place. Equally, if you there are wood scar on one side of the solid wood panel, you will find the same wood scar from the other side.

1.Pine wood

As now people are pay more attention to environmental effect, solid wood furniture are becoming more and more popular. Pine wood are using a lot in timber wood furniture, especially children furniture are mostly use pine solid timber wood.
Pine wood furniture have 2 type. One is masson pine, and another is mongolian scotch pine. Mongolian scotch pine are the vital raw material for man made fiber panel in decoration. Masson pine wood grain straight and italic are uneven.
The disadvantage of pine wood is it is easy to crack when the weather is too dry, and easy to be erosion.

2.Ash tree wood

Ash tree wood panel are wide use as decoration panel, why use this kind of panel for hotel furniture, it is connected to its speciality. Fraxinus commonly called ash, is a genus of plants in the olive and lilac family, Oleaceae. It grows in the northeast part of China, Russia and some other place. The biggest advantage of ash wood is for its wood grain, the wood grain are beautiful and clear, suitable for modern minimalish style hotel apartment furniture, and the price of ash tree panel are economic. The disadvantage of ash tree panel is for the solid timber wood hotel room furniture, it is easy to be out of shape, so if use ash tree wood for solid timber wood furniture, normally it will use small piece to connect together.
